This article proposes the application of the Intellectual Water Drops (IWD) algorithm to solve the problem of medical diagnosis. The purpose of the article is to test the use of IWD in medical diagnosis tasks and to evaluate its effectiveness compared to other general optimization algorithms. In this article, the process of intellectual diagnosis of patients with cardiovascular diseases based on standard patterns using the IWD algorithm is discussed.
The results obtained with this algorithm were compared with those achieved using other general optimization algorithms (Ant) and the findings are presented in table format.
