In today's era of developing information technologies, the correct storage, processing and management of data is an important factor for any organization. Especially in higher education institutions, the annual growth of data on students, subjects, grades and the educational process requires a more thorough organization of the database structure. Data duplication, update anomalies and incorrect connections lead to slow system operation and an increase in the number of errors. This article analyzes the process of database normalization in the university student database and its practical effectiveness.
