Abstract

This study examines the issue of dynamic replication of data fragments in distributed information systems. In recent years, efficient management and processing of databases has become a critical scientific challenge. Due to the limitations of centralized databases, distributed database systems (DDBs) are considered an alternative solution for fast data access, improved system reliability, and reduced operational costs. The study explores methods to enhance the efficiency of distributed systems using fragmentation and replication technologies. The research analyzes the application of horizontal, vertical, and hybrid fragmentation models in distributed systems and evaluates their impact on optimal data placement strategies.
