This article is dedicated to the methods of digital processing of knitted fabric images. It examines the effectiveness of artificial intelligence approaches and classical algorithms (Canny, Sobel, K-means) in the tasks of image recognition and segmentation. The article presents practical results obtained using the Python programming language, along with their visualization through graphs. These approaches contribute to the effective detection of defects in knitted products and improve production quality.
