Abstract

This paper is devoted to the segmentation of strongly related objects in digital medical images from blood images, in particular, using the polygon method. Using the diameters of segmented red blood cells, it is possible to construct the Price-Jones curve and predict the presence of the disease or draw the doctor's attention to a suspicious image. The article describes the main stages of the algorithm - contour search, concave point search, segment grouping, ellipses installation
