This article are presented algorithms for formalization, digitization and analysis of nominal data. This article proposes methods and algorithms for reducing the dimensionality of the original feature space of description for the problem of pattern recognition. For each method considered below, a step-by-step algorithm is given, allowing these methods to be quickly and efficiently translated into programming languages for various types of ECM, nearest neighbors
