Identifying a person using dynamic biometric authentication methods

Abstract. Biometric methods are aimed at identifying a person based on their unique characteristics. The article considers keyboard handwriting as a dynamic biometric characteristic. The features necessary for identification are analyzed and selected. The algorithm for generating a keystroke dynamics pattern is based on recording time parameters. Classical statistical approaches to identifying users based on keystroke dynamics are considered. To solve the identification problem, it is proposed to use a client-server application, its characteristics are given, tests are conducted, and the results are analyzed.
