SECURITY ISSUES OF BIOMETRIC SYSTEMS

This article presents methods and algorithms for ensuring the security of users of biometric information systems. It extensively covers the technologies for working with immutable biometric data about a person and their use in information systems using these unique fingerprints, hand geometry, facial structure and iris. At the end of the article, the disadvantages of biometric systems are presented, including spoofing attacks and authentication technologies against them.
