Abstract

The article presents ways to reduce the likelihood of optical signal loss and ensure security in fiber-optic communication networks. Currently, an important factor is the transmission of data via optical fibers without signal loss. The article analyzes methods for preventing the loss of optical signals and methods for reducing the likelihood of losses in an optical data transmission system. Factors affecting the reliability of the optical data transmission system were also studied and appropriate conclusions were drawn.
